- While the beginning of the quarter put employers in an environment of uncertainty, June’s rise in job postings (nearly across the board) for key tech occupations and hubs suggests that – even though the pandemic is far from over – employer confidence is returning.
- Emerging tech hubs showed continued growth – including Austin (16%), Charlotte (4%), Raleigh (9%) and Arlington (28%).
- Occupations including Java developer (14%), computer programmer (7%) and DevOps engineer (3%) have grown in Q2 of 2020 compared to Q2 of 2019.
